ESPN RISE is starting a National Career Records list for boys’ and girls’ lacrosse and is seeking contributions from lacrosse coaches and fans around the nation.
The incomplete lists are being published now to get the news out. Records will be added as they receive them.
To submit a performance to the national records list, have the head coach or official team statistician e-mail information to lacrosse editor Mike Loveday at mike.loveday.espn@gmail.com.
Some of the record were culled from the 2008 National Federation High school Sports Record Book.
The current boys’ list can be found here. The girls’ list can be found here.
Currently the leaders are being posted for career goals, assists, points (the leader is Manheim Township’s Tim Stratton, 2004-07 with 589) coaching victories, state championships (for a coach) and consecutive wins (by a team).
For the girls, Philly is well-represented. Emily Garrity (Strath Haven, 2006-09) is the all-time lead in points (695) and assists (289) and Phyllis Kilgour (Radnor) is the leader in coaching victories (574).
Also, Garrity is fifth in goals (406) and Harrton’s Carli Sukonik (2008-11) is eighth in goals (335).
