Mesa Fresh 2012 won the Senior Varsity Division at the Rutgers MVP National Championship Tournament at Rutgers University Sunday by claiming a 6-2 victory over Leading Edge (N.J.) 2012.

Mesa Fresh advanced to the finals with an 8-3 victory over Long Island’s For the Love of the Game (FLG).
Mesa finished pool play with a 5-0 record, beating CNY Rochester Roadhawks Orange 8–6, Team Twist Silver (PA), 10–0, Tri-State (NJ), 10–5, Team Turnpike (NJ), 10–4, and Triangle Select (North Carolina).
Mesa 2012’s record stands at 58–11-1. Mesa’s team consists of top rising seniors from the Main Line area of Philadelphia. Currently, 18 of Mesa’s 24 players are committed to play Division 1 lacrosse.
