Alyssa Gallen (Bayard Rustin) and Nicole Pyle (Henderson) each registered hat tricks to lead sixth-ranked West Chester to an 18-8 victory over visiting Shippensburg in a PSAC East women’s lacrosse match on a rain-soaked Monday afternoon at Vonnie Gros Field.
Shannon Hayes and Erin Oczkowski (Archbishop Wood) each added two goals and two assists for the Golden Rams.
Katie Brewer (Henderson) had a goal and an assist for Shippensburg (2-2, 1-1) and Meghan Kearney (Springfield-Delco) made 19 saves.
Bloomsburg 17, Millersville 5
Tia Mazzie (Boyertown) scored five goals as the Huskies (5-1, 2-0) defeated Millersville in PSAC East action. Brittney Long (Henderson) led the Marauders (1-3, 0-2) with three goals.
Lock Haven 21, Indiana (PA) 6
Kate Smyth (Pennsbury) had five goals and three assists for the No. 2 Eagles (4-0, 2-0).

Navy 21, Presbyterian 4
Kathy Young (Villa Maria Academy) and Beth Young (Villa Maria Academy) each scored once for the Mids (10-2).
Stanford 19, Cincinnati 4
Amanda Schwab (Harriton) scored twice and Julie Christy (Conestoga) once as the Cardinal (5-2) cruised.

Alvernia 18, Cedar Crest 8
Felicia Sippel (St. Hubert), Allison Bainbridge (Pottsgrove), and Alyssa Verrillo (Archbishop Wood) all scored first-half hat tricks as the Crusaders )1-2) jumped out to a 15-0 lead at halftime. Sarah George (Bayard Rustin) netted Alvernia’s first goal of the second half to complete her hat trick.
