Three more Philly rising senior girls have committed to Division I colleges.
Conestoga’s Brooke McGillis (midfielder) has committed to New Hampshire, Notre Dame Academy’s MC McDonald (midfielder) has committed to Loyola and Bishop Shanahan’s Casey Briglia (midfielder) has committed to Duquesne.
McGillis was a second team Ches-Mont League pick for a team that reached the quarterfinals of the District 1 tournament. A member of the Phantastix cluib team, who will join club teammate Taylor Hurwitz (Council Rock South goalie) at New Hampshire.
McDonald was a second team Inter-Ac League pick for a Notre Dame squad that finished second in the Inter-Ac. She also plays for the Phantastix and will join club teammate Hannah Schmitt (Archbishop Carroll midfielder) at Loyola.
Briglia was a key member of a Shanahan team that was named the Most Improved squad in the Pennsylvania Area Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (PASLA). She plays for the PA Express club team.
