Recent Ridley graduate Becky Donkin (midfielder) has signed a letter of intent and will play Division II lacrosse at Millersville University.

Donkin was a First Team Central League pick and a US Lacrosse Academic All-American for a Green Raiders team that placed fifth in the league and advanced to the District 1 playoffs in 2010.

Donkin also was an Academic All-American pick as a junior when she earned Second Team Ches-Mont honors. She was an Honorable Mention pick as a freshman.

*Boyertown’s Jordan Heidelbaugh (attack) and Kelsey Smith (defender) will play at national runner-up West Chester. Heidelbaugh was a First Team Pioneer Athletic Conference pick and Smith was a Second Team choice.

Heidelbaugh scored four gals for Boyertown in its 17-9 win over Methacton in the PAC-10 title game, helping the Bears claim their sixth straight PAC-10 title. They finished 16-5 and advanced to the second round of the District 1 tournament.

*Also, Boyertown’s Kara Smoyer (midfielder) will play at Shippensburg.
