The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have re-signed defenseman Taylor Wray for their 25th anniversary season.
Wray had three points and tallied 51 loose balls in 13 games during the 2010 season. He was traded to the Wings in 2007 after a four-year stint with the Calgary Roughnecks. He began his career in 2004, winning the NLL Championship with Calgary and was named both Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Wray is a 2003 graduate of Duke University and has spent the last four seasons as an assistant coach for the Lehigh University men’s team.
The Wings begin the NLL season on Saturday, January 8 at 7 p.m. against the Boston Blazers at the Wells Fargo Center.
