Kelyn Freedman collected four goals, six assists, three interceptions and seven draw controls to lead Radnor to a 17-8 victory over host Episcopal Academy today in non-league girls’ lacrosse.
The win raised the Red Raiders’ record to 6-0. Radnor, which led 6-4 at halftime, is the top-ranked team in the PA Media Rankings.
Allie Martin and Ali Kelly each added three goals and two assists for the Raiders while Courtney Campbell had two goals and two assists. Kristen Norden added two goals and Alyssa Dunlap and Allison Heath led the defense while goalie Annie Woehling had 15 saves.
Ellie Kraus, Natalie Miller and Leah Gallagher also scored for Radnor.
Alexa Buckley (six groundballs) led EA (3-4) with three goals and Taylor Trimble contributed two assists, three draw controls and seven groundballs. Blake Hugh, Libby Eyre, Taylor Trimble, Ali Singley and Faith Stewart all scored once and Ashley McCormick scooped six groundballs.
Academy of Notre Dame 21, Baldwin 11
Sophomore Kristen Bandos had seven goals, three assists and four groundballs to lead the Irish to the Inter-Ac League win.
Carlianne McCabe added three goals, one assist and four draw controls and Bridget Burns had three goals and four assists while Katie Blumenthal tallied three goals and three assists.
Sloan Warren led the Bears with three goals and two assists and Val Cohen had 16 saves.
Germantown Academy 18, Springside School 8
Maggie Ebbott had six goals and two assists and Caroline Haynie added three goals and four assists while Brooke Kiley had three goals and three assists to help the Patriots earn the Inter-Ac League win.
Potsttown 16, Owen J. Roberts 10
Kasey Mock netted eight goals as the Trojans defeated the Wildcats in the PAC-10 contest.
Caitey Mitchell led OJR with three goals.
Springfield-Montco 17, Upper Merion 4
UM’s Mel Ryan scored twice and Kellie Manoppello and Amanda McAteer added one apiece in defeat.
Plymouth Whitemarsh 16, Norristown 2
Amy Powell scored four goals as the Colonials coasted past the Eagles..
Wissahickon 19, Cheltenham 9
Freshman Laura Frankenfield poured in eight goals to lead the Trojans to the victory.
Methacton 16, Pottsgrove 1
Megan Nearing tallied four goals as the Warriors earned the PAC-10 win.
Spring-Ford 16, St. Pius X 4
Maddie Ward scored four goals to help the Rams claim the PAC-10 victory.
