Scholastic boys: Hill School falls at Rutgers Prep, 9-8

Joe Bowen scored off a pass from Brad Hagan to snap a tie late in the game and host Rutgers Prep went on to a 9-8 victory over the Hill School Sunday.

Eric Neumeyer and Brendan Francis each scored twice for the Blues (4-5) while George Cornelson and Gabe Walker played well on defense.

St. Joseph’s Prep-St. Anthony’s game postponed

The scheduled game between visiting St. Joseph’s Prep and Long Island power St. Anthony’s Sunday was postponed due to a conflict with the St. Anthony’s field. The game will be rescheduled at a later date.
