Gina Eberwein scored the game-winner in overtime as host Bishop Shanahan defeated Germantown Friends, 12-11, today in a non-league girls’ lacrosse game involving two undefeated teams.
The win raised Shanahan’s record to 5-0 while the Tigers fell to 5-1.
Colleen Holmes led the Eagles with three goals and two assists while Eberwein, and Casey Brigilia each had two goals and Kathryn Skahan had a goal and three assists.
Iris Williamson led the Tigers with five goals and Betsy Sachs added four while Lyles Swift-Farley had two.
Harriton 18, Plymouth Whitemarsh 4
Jess Schwab had five goals and four assists and Carli Sukonik had five goals and one assist while Laura Walzer added four goals and two assists for the Rams (5-2) in the non-league win.
Maddy Pisani also scored three goals for Harriton. Cait Munday led PW with a pair of goals.
Great Valley 17, CB South 4
Colleen O’Malley collected six goals and one assist and Sara McBride had four goals while Jess Nawojski had three goals and an assist to lead the undefeated Patriots (7-0).
Upper Perkiomen 10, Jenkintown 6
Lauren Meacham scored five goals and Jenny Pierson added a pair as the Tribe topped the Drakes.
Carolyn Smith led Jenkintown with four goals.
West Chester East 14, Owen J. Roberts 6
Hayley Tomlinson fired in seven goals to lead the Vikings to the non-league win.
Nicole Miller and Caitey Mitchell each scored twice for OJR and Emily Kolsevich
had a goal and an assist while Allie Campbell scored once. Kristen Gregory made 17 saves.
