Penn was picked to finish fifth and Princeton was named the preseason champion in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Coaches’ Poll.
Princeton, coached by former Drexel coach Chris Bates, has six players on the preseason all-league team.
Cornell, picked No. 2 in the league, features sophomore defenseman Mike Bronzino (Conestoga) in its starting lineup.
Brown, tied for No. 3 with Yale, has sophomore Wills Curley (Malvern Prep) as a backup goalie.
Sophomore Cole Yeager (Radnor) is the face-off specialist at Yale, and junior Colin Still (Penn Charter) is a key at midfield.
Penn, at No. 5, is coached by Mike Murphy and considered a possible sleeper.
Harvard, at No. 6, is led by Murphy’s former assistant, first-year coach Chris Wojcik. The Crimson features sophomore attackman Peter Schwartz (La Salle).
Dartmouth is led by junior defenseman Ben Rossman (Haverford School).
