The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) has announced it has moved up the starting time of the boys’ lacrosse semifinal game between Conestoga and Manheim Township to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gov. Mifflin High in Shillington.
The game, originally slated for 2 p.m., is part of a doubleheader. The second game, which begins at 4 p.m., is a girls’ matchup between Manheim Township and Springfield-Delco.
The game was moved up to accommodate the Conestoga graduation, which will be held at Villanova University Tuesday evening.
Conestoga (22-2) is the District 1 champion and advanced to the semifinals by defeating Emmaus, 15-5. Manheim Township (22-4) is the District 3 runner-up and advanced by downing Franklin Regional, 17-9.
