This weekend, Towson University (Md.) will be host to one of the fiercest lacrosse tournaments in the country – the Under Armour Underclassmen Games.
Eight teams, for both boys and girls, will represent Baltimore, Long Island (NY), Upstate

New York, Midwest, Philadelphia, New England, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. The event also will include the Under Armour All-America games on the night of July 3rd.
As a member of the Philadelphia All-Star team in the Under Armour tournament, I’ll be blogging about the tournament throughout the weekend giving updates on standings, the tournament experience, and letting you know how the Philly teams are doing!
For a team with only 2 weeks to prepare, our team is looking really good. We have a relentless defense, extremely fast midfield, and a dangerous attack. We also have a pair of ridiculous goalies! This combination that makes up our team is what will allow us a good chance of contending for the title.
Comparatively, we have a young team. Most of the other teams are 75 percent made up of rising seniors; whereas our team has almost 50 percent rising seniors, the other 50 percent being rising juniors and sophomores. We also have the most rising sophomores on a team. Being one of them, I can honestly say this is the most amazing team I have ever played with and I’m extremely excited to see how we do this weekend!
If you also can’t wait to see how we do, you can check back here at Phillylacrosse.com for updates on the Under Armour Underclassmen Games all weekend!
GO PHILLY!!!
