The Pattison Sports Group will hold its 2nd Annual Summer Slam Lacrosse Tournament Saturday, June 25 and Sunday June 26 at Episcopal Academy and Westtown School.
In 2010, the Summer Slam Lacrosse Tournament hosted 65 boys’ club teams from across the country. This year the tournament will consist of 11 boys’ divisions – U9 A&B, U11 A&B, U13 A&B, U15A&B, High School AA, High School A, and High School B.
Each team is guaranteed four games over two days and teams playing for Summer Slam Titles will play additional games Sunday.
The new Episcopal Academy campus is a top-rated facility featuring both artificial turf and natural grass surfaces. On Saturday, June 25, the Summer Slam staff will host a coach’s breakfast social, sign-in and tournament information packet pick-up.
“We are excited to bring the Summer Slam Tournament back to a world class facility such as Episcopal,” said Jeff Long, President of Pattison Sports Group. “After our first year, the interest and response from the growing lacrosse community has been impressive.
“We expect to continue to draw great teams from across the country to complement the great competition that Philly and the surrounding Tri-State area continues to produce.”
In Addition, the Pattison Sports Group has partnered with NXTsports, which hosts the top showcase event in the area, the Philly Lacrosse Showcase.
