Defending girls’ state champion Radnor was the unanimous choice as the No. 1 team in the Preseason Pennsylvania Media Lacrosse Rankings.
The Red Raiders garnered all 13 first-place votes in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association poll, good for 130 points. Radnor also is atop the state-wide poll, which includes private and independent schools that are not members of the PIAA.
Each week members of the media from Phillylacrosse.com, LaxPower and 11 newspapers throughout the state are voting on the top teams both in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and the entire state for girls and boys. Points will be provided for the PIAA Polls.
Media members are voting from the following newspapers: the Philadelphia Inquirer, Delaware County Daily Times, West Chester Daily Local, Pottstown Mercury, Norristown Times Herald, Doylestown Intelligencer, Bucks County Courier Times, Allentown Morning Call, Lancaster Intelligencer, Harrisburg Patriot-News and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
