Strath Haven’s Summer O’Donnell was listed at No. 9 among the nation’s top girls’ defenders and Episcopal Academy’s Maggie Forker was listed at No. 18 by ESPN RISE in its weekly “On The RISE” feature.
O’Donnell was an Honorable Mention Central League pick in 2010, helping the Panthers tie for their
first league crown ever. A midfielder who plays on the defensive side, she played for Team Philly in the Under Armour Underclassmen Games and has committed to Drexel. She also helped the Panthers reach the state title game as a sophomore.
Forker was a First Team Inter-Ac League pick for EA, helping it claim a sixth straight league crown. Forker, who has committed to Vanderbilt, also was an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick who excelled for Philly at the National Tournament last year.
Also at No. 14 is Nicole Gleason (Loyola Academy, Wilmette, Ill.), who has committed to Villanova.
