Haverford School’s Goran Murray has been named one of the top senior defensemen in the country by Lax.com in its weekly Class of 2011 feature.
Murray, who recently was listed as the top senior long-stick midfielder by ESPN RISE, was a First Team Inter-Ac League and All-Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association (EPSLA) selection for the Inter-Ac co-champion Fords (20-4).
Murray also was selected to the ESPN RISE Warrior 40 team and played for the Philly squad at the Under Armour Underclassmen Games this summer.
Murray, listed at No. 29 in the Inside Lacrosse Rising Senior Young Guns feature this summer, has committed to Maryland.
Last week lax.com rated Haverford School goalie Conor Kelly as one of the top at his position.
