Holy Cross head women’s lacrosse coach Stephanie Ridolfi has announced the 2010-2011 freshman class for the Crusaders. The list of nine recruits includes midfielder Corinne Caracausa, of Mount St. Joseph Academy.
Caracausa, of North Wales, was a US Lacrosse Academic All-American and earned Athletic Association of Catholic Academies honors in 2010.
The remaining Holy Cross recruits include Christina Amendola (Manorville, N.Y.), Julia Cowan (Wilmette, Ill.), Seton Hartnett (Westfield, N.J.), Sara Hennessey (Winchester, Mass.), Maddie Parisi (Westport, Conn.), Kelly Reers (Glen Rock, N.J.), Maggie Reichenbach (Manhasset, N.Y.) and Sarah Weber (Summit, N.J.).
“We have a strong class of nine freshmen coming in, two of which are goalkeepers,” said Ridolfi. “They all have the ability to be very versatile at several positions and we feel that will help in finding the right chemistry our team will need throughout the year. We have been able to use many freshmen right away in past years and we hope to do the same with this freshman class.”
