Men’s recruits: Neumann lands large group of Philly players

Ten Philly recruits have committed to play lacrosse this year for the Class of 2014 at play at Neumann University.

The list includes:

Dillon Burke, Upper Darby, goaltender. Burke was an Honorable Mention Central League pick in 2010, helping the Royals (10-9) qualify for the District 1 tournament.

Andrew Millard, Boyertown, attackman. Millard helped the Bears finish 11-10 and qualify for the Pioneer Athletic Conference and District 1 playoffs.

Josh Hammer, Spring-Ford, defenseman. Hammer helped the Rams finish 19-3 and claim their first post-league playoff win ever.

Sam Maldou, Sun Valley, midfielder. Maldou helped the Vanguards finish 9-9.

Chris Bray, Lansdale Catholic, goaltender/LSM. Bray was an Honorable Mention Catholic League North pick for the Crusaders, helping them place second in the division while reaching the league semifinals.

Shawn Lee, Interboro, defenseman. Lee was an anchor on defense for the Bucs.

Kramer Kaufelds, New Hope Solebury, defenseman. Kaufelds, a 2009 graduate of New Hope, was the anchor of the team’s defense that season.

Scott Parke, Springfield Delco, defenseman
