Five St. Joseph’s Prep seniors recently signed their National Letters of Intent to play Division I lacrosse.
The group consisted of midfielder Jeff Heath (Delaware), attackmen Rob Watts (St. Joseph’s University) and Cory Scheuerle (Lafayette), defenseman Connor Dent (Bryant) and face-off specialist/midfielder Jake O’Brien (Lafayette).
Heath was an All-Phillylacrosse.com pick last year who scored 43 goals and earned First Team Catholic League Southern Division honors. Scheuerle and O’Brien also earned First Team selection while Dent was a Second Team pick.
The five helped the Hawks finish 12-8 overall and reach the Catholic League finals while earning the No. 8 spot in the final PA Media Rankings.
