Loyola University (MD) women’s head coach Jen Adams, a 2009 All-World choice and former Maryland standout, will be at L
ongstreth’s in North Coventry Township Sunday to give a Shooting and Stickwork Demo and autograph session from noon-to 2 p.m.
Adams who was a key member of four NCAA championship teams at Maryland and is the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer, will give her demo until 1:30 p.m. and then give autographs for 30 minutes. Longstreth’s is located at 28 Wells Road, Parker Ford.
Coach Duck’s Clinic Youth girls
The Coach Duck’s Lacrosse Clinic will be held Sunday at Ampro Field House in Clifton Heights for youth girls.
The event benefits the Strath Haven girls’ lacrosse team and costs $35 per player. Th events times are as follows:
Third and fourth graders go from 8-9:15 a.m.; fifth and sixth graders go from 9:15-10:30 a.m.; and seventh and eighth graders go from 10:30 a.m.-noon.
The clinic focuses on fundamentals of lacrosse, stick skills, attack, defense, and 4v3 continuous.
