Penn Charter’s Joey Sankey and La Salle’s Kevin Forster have been listed among the nation’s top senior attackmen by Lax.com in its weekly feature called the “Class of 2011.”
Sankey (committed to North Carolina) earned US Lacrosse All-American, All-Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association and Phillylacrosse.com honors last year. He also was chosen to participate in the ESPN RISE Warrior 40 event and played for Team Philly in the Under Armour Underclassmen Games.
Sankey was listed by Inside Lacrosse as the No. 6 Young Gun in the Inside Lacrosse Rising Senior feature this summer. He also was named by ESPN RISE as the No. 9 senior in the country. He had 47 goals and 31 assists in 2010.
Forster (committed to Maryland) earned US Lacrosse All-American, All-Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association and Phillylacrosse.com honors. He also was chosen to participate in the ESPN RISE Warrior 40 event.
Forster was listed by Inside Lacrosse as Young Gun No. 13 last month and was the No. 16 player listed by ESPN RISE. Forster had 41 goals and 34 assists in leading the Explorers to the state finals last year and has been a starter on two state title winning squads.
