Shipley School graduate Jack Tanenbaum, a freshman goalie at Florida State, appeared in eight games and made 64 saves for a team that finished 14-4 and reached the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) National Championships this year.

The seventh-seeded Seminoles lost in the round to 10th-seeded Simon Fraser in the tourney opener at the Dick’s Sporting Good Park in Denver, Colorado. Florida State was the regular-season champion in Division I of the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference, but fell to Florida in the first round of the league playoffs.
