TOWSON, Md. – It was a long hot day here in Towson, Maryland.
Our first game was against a powerful Baltimore squad. The score after the first half was 11-1 with Baltimore winning. At half we regrouped and talked about we needed to improve in the second half. We were able to improve in the second half with a final score of 15-6.
We were able to catch the end of the boys game against Baltimore thatwent into overime and resulted in a Philly loss.
Later today we went on to play Upstate, NY. It was a back-and-forth game the whole time and we were down 4-3 at half. The lead went back and forth multiple times throughout the half. A Philly goal with about two minutes to go tied the game at 9-9 and sent us into overtime.
We were about a minute and a half into the sudden death overtime when an Upstate player scored giving them a 10-9 victory. It was a tough loss but a great effort in all.
Tomorrow we play New England in a must win situation in order to advance.
LET’S GO PHILLY!
