Danielle Horn scored the tying goal with 21 seconds left in regulation and Abbie Hartman scored her sixth goal of the game in overtime as host North Penn defeated Boyertown, 14-13, today in non-league girls’ lacrosse.
The Maidens, ranked 10th in the PIAA in this week’s Media Rankings, improved to 4-0. The Bears, ranked No. 9, fell to 2-1-1.
Lauren McDermott and Ali Green each added two goals for North Penn while Alyssa Culp, Stacey Pellechia and Brittany Hanrahan each scored once. Goalie Lyndsay Hepler made 11 saves.
Lyndsey Babilon, Sam Mazzie, and Emily Austerberry each scored four goals for Boyertown, which rallied from a 9-4 halftime deficit.
Norristown 13, Bishop McDevitt 5
Ashley Watson, Trisha Taylor and Nicole Lobban each scored two goals while Lianna Benjamin, Rickeya McNeill, Taylor Foxworth, Shernai Banks, Kelley Cooney and
Gina Monastero had one apiece to lead the Eagles
Nikki Iacena led McDevitt with two goals.
Archbishop Wood 10, Pennsbury 5
Alyssa Verrillo scored three goals while Aubrie Ahrens, Caitlyn McCartney and Alyssa Andress each scored two goals to lead the Vikings (3-0) to the non-league win. Kelly McVan added one goal, Haley Oxcowlski had an assist and Kate Smart made nine saves.
CB South 18, Conwell-Egan 1
Natalie Rube (two assists) and Deanna Giorno each had four goals and Jen Dunne had three goals and three assists for South.
CR North 12, CB West 6
Casey Doyle had three goals while Molly Doyle, Kata Magley and Katy Rinker had two apiece for the Indians. Tori Ueland (two assists) and Morgan Ashworth each had two for West.
Springfield-Delco 13, Upper Dublin 7
Maddie Poplawski led the Cougars with six goals and Sammie Tulskie added a pair. Amy Cross led the Cards with two goals and two assists.
West Chester East 8, Council Rock South 7
Audrey Metzger-Bailey led East with four goals. Madison Hurwitz, Lea Biritton and sammu Hurley had two each for CR South.
Central Bucks East 16, Villa Joseph Marie 14
Carly Bitzer pumped in five goals and Tessa Roedel and Meredith Lavin added four apiece for East. Marisa Palombi netted six goals for VJM.
Methacton 19, Perkiomen Valley 11
Jess Schmidt and Megan Nearing led Methacton with four goals apiece and Abby Devlin (four assists), Sara Watro and Maria Numerato each had three goals. Emily Beisswenger notched seven goals to lead PV.
Radnor 19, Marple Newtown 4
Sam Ellis scored five goals and Amalia Antonopols added three while Courtney Campbell, Ali Kelly, Kelyn freedman and Leah Gallagher each had two for the No. 1 Red Raiders (3-0, 2-0) in the Central League. Jackie Roebuck scored twice for Marple.
Upper Darby 19, Archbishop Prendergast 5
Christy Hild scored six goals and Erin Kirkwood made 11 stops in goal for the Royals. Lauren Rovinski led Prendie with three goals.
Spring-Ford 14, Owen J. Roberts 9
Bayard Rustin 8, Garnet Valley 7
Meghan Watkin scored the game-winner with just under two minutes to play while Victoria Dugan and Leana Brewer each had two goals to help Rustin (3-0) stay unbeaten and deal the Jaguars (4-1) their first loss. Tori Mitros, Allie Henry and Halley Barnes each scored two for GV.
Pottsgrove 12, Octorara 1
Ashley Delaney had a hat trick while Kathleen Rowland, Ali Schurr, and Rebecca Dolenti added two goals each for the Falcons.

Tate Klidonas had three goals, Mic Debellis had two goals and two assists and Will Scott and Alex Kuehner each added a goal and two assist to pace the Green Hornets (3-2) to the Lehigh Valley League win. CJ Billera also scored for Emmaus and Dan Zagnoli posted eight saves.
Cody Meuser had two goals and Matt Michael had a goal and two assists for Easton. Luke Snyder made nine saves.
Sun Valley 12, Harriton 6
Bobby Clemens and Frankie Jackson each had two goals and two assists and Donnie Krausse and Matt Remner each scored two goals to pace the Vanguards (3-1) to the non-league win. Sam Maldou and Erich Bigas contributed one goal apiece and Tyler Brun had 10 saves.
Harriton was led by Noah Levin, who had three goals and three assists. Nate Kotarra added three goals and Rob Schwab had two assists.
Owen J. Roberts 11, Boyertown 5
Kohl Batdorf, Austin Moran-Santangelo, Greg Nester, Jordan Hafer and Billy Higgins each scored two goals as the Wildcats (5-) claimed the Pioneer Athletic Conference win.
Germantown Academy 10, Abington 7
Beau Jones had three goals and three assists and Reid Weber added a hat trick while Steve Oppenheimer made 13 saves to lead the Patriots (1-1) to the win over the Ghosts (1-1).
