Scholastic wrap: Emmaus stays unbeaten in LVL; Hill School cruises

Mic Debellis had three goals and two assists and Will Scott contributed two goals and five assists to lead visiting Emmaus to a 15-7 victory over Parkland Wednesday in Lehigh Valley league boys’ lacrosse.

The win raised the Green Hornets’ record to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the LVL. Emmaus is ranked 10th in the PA Media Lacrosse Rankings.

Tate Klidonas added three goals for Emmaus while Alex Kuehner (one assist) and Dan Kinek each added a pair.

Hill (3-4, 2-1 league) raced to an 11-1 halftime lead and cruised to the Mid-Atlantic Prep Conference win. PJ Mara, David Brown and Eric Davidheiser led the attack.

Pennridge 8, Soudeerton 4

Kevin Figaniak fired in six goals and Pennridge scored six first-half goals and held off a second half surge from Souderton (1-8) in the Suburban Continental League win. J.P. Carroll and Lee Stiles scored two goals each for Souderton.

Owen J, Roberts 16, Boyertown 8

Jordan Hafer scored four goals, Greg Nester added three and Charlie Stein had two as the Wildcats routed Boyertown to remain undefeated in the PAC-10 at 7-0 (10-1 overall). Mike Costanzo, Billy Higgins, Connor Kelly, Jimmy Hennessey, Dylan Swope, Ethan Breden, and Jarrett Sczecinski. all added one goal for OJR.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 15, Cheltenham 2

Upper Merion 10, Wissahickon 6

Nate Hare scored six goals and Conor Crowe made 18 saves to help the Vikings (7-0, 5-0) stay undefeated with the Suburban One American Conference win. Upper Merion hosts Upper Dublin in a key game Friday. Pat Delaney had two goals for the Trojans.

Paul Reutemann scored four goals to lead the Knights to the victory.


North Penn 18, Central Bucks South 6

Lauren McDermott had four goals and four draw controls and Abbie Hartman had four goals and two assists while Alyssa Culp collected three goals and two assists to lead the Maidens to the Suburban One Continental Conference win.

Halie Lear (four draw controls) and Brittany Hanrahan added two goals each for NP (7-0) while Ali Green, Dani Horn and Dianna Milano also scored once. Macie Hauck added two assists while Lyndsay Hepler (six saves) and Sarah Prall (two saves) handled the goaltending duties.

Spring-Ford 19, Pottsgrove 9

Ashley Wood led the Rams with five goals and Jess Thomas added four in the Pioneer Athletic Conference win. Ashley Delaney led the Falcons with four goals.

Bishop Ireton 13, Archbishop Carroll 6

Hill School 16, Blair Academy (NJ) 1

Victoria Gerberding led the Blues with five goals and Greta Witter added four and Callie Francis three.
