Radnor’s Kilgour to be honored as Delco Coach of Year

    Radnor girls’ lacrosse coach Phyllis Kilgour will be honored as the William McCray Memorial Award winner as the 2008 Delaware County Coach of the Year.

    Kilgour, who led the Red Raiders to a 23-0 record and the District One Class AAA championship last year, will receive the award at the Delco Athletes Hall of Fame association’s annual awards dinner Thursday, April 23 at Concordville Inn.

     Kilgour won her 500^th game last year on the first game of the season. Including this year’s 5-0 start, she has amassed 527 career victories and six district championships in her storied career.

    Radnor is currently ranked No. 1 in the Pennsylvania Lacrosse Media Rankings.
