Central League champion Radnor, which is 17-0 and ranked atop the PA Media Rankings, has earned the No. 1 seed in the District 1 girls’ tournament.
The 32-team tourney field, selected last night by league coaches, also featured Suburban One Continental Conference champion North Penn (No. 2), Central League runner-up Springfield-Delco (No. 3) and Ches-Mont League champion Unionville (No. 4) among the top seeds.
First-round games will be Tuesday at the higher seeds and second-round games will be Thursday. Seven teams will advance to the first Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) tournament.
