Radnor, the first Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association champion for girls’ lacrosse, was the No. 1 team in the final MaxPreps state Power Ratings. The MaxPrep rankings are based on overall record, strengfth af schedule and performance in the playoffs.
MaxPreps State Power Ratings are the result of a collection of enormous amounts of information from teams throughout the country and the application of a computer model. The ratings system is 100% objective.
MaxPreps uses a computer program to determine team rank. The system utilizes the huge number of game results stored in the MaxPreps database. Generally, the more a team wins the higher the ranking, but the system takes into account quality wins (against other highly ranked opponents) and strength of schedule.
