Corona del Mar (CA) senior middie Noah Molnar has signed a national letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.
Molnar said he chose Lehigh over Brown, Towson and Notre Dame based on his visit to the school.
“I just loved the coaching staff, I fell in love with the school and I really liked the players on the team,” Molnar said. “I feel like it’s a place I can contribute all four years.”
Molnar added that he is amped to take his Southern California game to the East Coast.
“It’s really exciting,” he said. “It shows the sport is growing so much and kids out here are getting more and more looks. And more kids are going back East to play at big schools.”
Molnar is the second top recruit from California to choose Lehigh and coach Kevin Cassese. Molar is the No. 12 recruit in the ELITE 25 Boys Power Rankings by WestSideLax, which covers all schools West of the Mississippi River.
An earlier Lehigh signee, St. Ignatius Prep middie Carlton Fisher, is ranked No. 10.
