Lauren McDermott scored two goals and had three assists to lead North Penn to a 10-6 victory over Council Rock North Wednesday in girls’ lacrosse action.
Abbie Hartman, Macie Hauck and Ali Green each scored two goals and Danielle Horn, Staccey Pellechia each had one. Goalie Lyndsay Hepler made 15 saves. Ellie Plappert and Molly Doyle each had two goals for CR North.
Notre Dame 18, Hill School 7
Katie Blumenthal and Kelly McCallion had four goals and Bridget Burns had five draw controls.
Jenkintown 16, Lower Moreland 5
Carolyn Smith had five goals and an assist and Anika Ross contributed three goals and an assist for the Drakes (3-0). Goalie Hannah Hirschhorn earned the win by making four saves.
Norristown 8, Kennedy-Kenrick 3
Ashley Watson scored three goals and Rickeya McNeill and Nicole Lobban had two apiece while Trisha Taylor scored once for the Eagles. Amanda Fedak led KK with two goals.
Episcopal Academy 19, Sewickley Academy 3
Taylor Trimble collected three goals and two assists and Megan Spagnola scored three goals while Kate Ivory had two goals and three assists, Sammi Arbitman had two goals and two assists, and Kelley Moore, Avery Curley and Alexa Buckley each scored twice for EA (4-0). 2g). Maggie Forker, Claire McManus and Allie Clark also scored once. Senior goalie Caitlin Powers had four saves on five shots.

Liz Duke notched five goals and Hannah Goforth had three goals and an assist for Shanahan. Collen Holmes added a goal and an assist and Jackie Donato had 14 groundballs. Megan Dunn had saves for the win in goal.
Abington 12, Council Rock South 6
Kate Cooper scored five goals and Kailee Ashby had three to lead the Ghosts (2-0). Madison Hurwitz scored four goals for CR South.
Radnor 13, Unionville 7
Courtney Campbell had six goals and Allie Martin (four groundballs, six draw controls, two caused turnovers, one interception) scored four more while Kelyn Freedman had a goal and six assists to pace the top-ranked Red Raiders in their opener. Katie Geary made nine saves in goal. Julie Moran had three goals for Unionville (2-1) and Lindsey Smith added a pair.
Marple Newtown 19, Upper Darby 7
Jackie Roebuck scored seven goals and Melanie Sarcinello added six goals and three assists to help the Tigers (2-0) win their Central League opener. Renee D’Angelo added two goals, Emily MacCart had a goal and an assist and Melissa Farrell made 12 saves. Christy Hild had four goals for the Royals while Bridget Heagy added two and Sam Hotz had one. Erin Kirkwood recorded eight saves in goal.
Gwynedd Mercy Academy 14, Lansdale Catholic 13, OT
Calli Foley scored the game-winner in OT and had five goals to lead Gwynedd. Katie Gillespie scored six for LC.
Germantown Academy splits in California
GA fell to Torrey Pines, 13-10, in its California road trip. Kate Henrich scored three goals and Maggie Ebbott added a pair while Rachel Magerman, Olivia Mann, Steph LaMont, Brooke Kiley, Alex Farris all scored once.
GA also defeated La Jolla, 16-9 as Henrich and Ebbott netted five, Olivia Mann had two and Sidney Jacobs, Mia Jordan, Steph LaMont and Alex Farrie had one apiece.
