Fifteen Philadelphia players have been named to play in the 68th Annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association North/South All-Star Games Friday at Harvard Stadium.
The games feature many of the top seniors in the country in all three divisions and will be played as part of a tripleheader. The Division III game will be played at 2 p.m. and the Division I/II game will be played at 4 p.m. After the North/South games, the Boston Cannons will host the Denver Outlaws in a Major League Lacrosse contest.
Philadelphians that will play include:
Division I/II North: Hofstra midfielder Michael Colleluori (Ridley).
Division I/II South: Drexel midfielders Kevin Dart and Jon Van Houten; Villanova’s Chris MacDonald (attack) and defender Eddie DiDonato (La Salle); Penn State attackman Rob Forster (La Salle) and goalie Drew Adams (Springfield-Delco); Loyola long-stick midfielder P.T. Ricci (Conestoga); Penn attackman Craig Andrzejewski and Mercyhurst defender Matt Spahr (Penncrest).
Division III South: Cabrini’s Mike Dolente (face-offs, Spring-Ford), Scott Reimer (attack, Downingtown West) and Jeff Moore (defender, Springfield-Delco); Denison’s Dan Maude (midfield, Haverford School); and Wesley defenseman Kirk Waldie (Ridley).
Also Lehigh coach Kevin Cassese is an assistant for the Division I North team.
