F&M women picked to win Centennial Conference; Ursinus is fifth

    Franklin & Marshall was picked as the preseason favorite to win the the 2009 Centennial Conference in the coaches’ poll. The Diplomats are led by senior attacker Jen Pritchard (Penncrest), a preseason Tawaaraton Trophy watch List choice who had 72 goals last year and has 200 in her career.

    F&M took eight of 10 first-place votes and totaling 72 points. Gettysburg nabbed the other two first-place nods and finished with 66 points, just ahead of Dickinson College in third with 65 points. McDaniel College, Ursinus College, and Muhlenberg College rounded out the top six.
