District 1 boys’ tourney: Conestoga, Downingtown East, Springfield-D, Radnor earn top seeds, byes

Central League champion Conestoga (No. 1), Ches-Mont League champion Downingtown East (No. 2), and Central League runner-ups Springfield-Delco (No. 3) and Radnor (No. 4) claimed the top four seeds – and the only byes – for the 28-team field for the first District 1 boys’ tournament, selected today by league coaches.

The first round will be held Tuesday with second-round games Thursday and quarterfinal matches Saturday.
