Conestoga rising senior midfielder/attack Theresa Brady has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Old Dominion University.
Brady scored 19 goals last year for the Pioneers, who went 10-7 and reached the second round of the District 1 tournament.
At ODU, Brady will join head coach Sue Stahl, an Ursinus College grad and member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Last year Stahl was the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Coach of the Year, leading the Lady Monarchs to an 11-5 season and a berth in the CAA semifinals.
Brady is the second Conestoga rising senior to commit to a Division I college. Amanda Norcini, a midfielder, committed to Drexel.
Rising seniors can sign a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period, Nov. 11-18.
