Emily Ellisen pumped in three goals and Kim Wenger added a pair as host Great Valley edged Boyertown, 6-5, Wednesday in non-league girls’ action featuring two teams ranked by Phillylacrosse.com.
The Patriots (14-2) are ranked second and the Bears (14-3) are ranked ninth.
Maggie Tamasitis had two goals and Ashley Harman turned aside 16 shots for Boyertown, the top seed in the upcoming Pioneer Athletic Conference playoffs.

Sammi Arbitman collected three goals and five assists and Megan Spagnola scored three goals to lead the host Churchwomen (13-4) to the non-league rout.
Kelley Moore, Taylor Trimble, Avery Curley, Kate Ivory and Blake McHugh scored two goals each and Caitlin Powers topped 10 shots for EA.

Olivia Mann poured in eight goals while Heather Rittenhouse had four goals and four assists to power the host Patriots (9-8) to the non-league win over VJM (9-8).
Maggie Ebbott and Amanda Jones added three goals apiece for the Pats while Sarah Magnone scored six goals and Steph Lawall had five to lead VJM.
