Spring-Ford High School

League: Pioneer Conference

Coach: Kevin Donnelly,15th year

Last year’s record: 19-3, (PAC Championship, Qualified for PIAA State Tournament)

Key returnees: Ryan Rosenblum 2018 M, Jarrod Marenger 2018 A, Kyle Pettine 2018 G, Gage Warrell 2018 D, Kyle Mason 2018 LSM/D, Gavin Hare 2018 M, Peyton Gensler 2019 A, Dean Costalas 2019 D

Others to watch: Hunter Hudak 2018 LSM, Luken Wilson 2018, Blake Terrizzi 2020 D

Coach’s outlook for 2018 season: “We are attempting to push ourselves to be the best team that we can be. We are focusing on doing the little things right. We have set a challenging schedule for the team in hopes that it prepares us for the end of the year. Our goal has always been to maintain a level of excellence on and off the field, while striving to reach new levels of success as a program.”

Interboro High School

League: Pioneer Conference

Coach: Tom Speer, third year coaching at Interboro (now associate member of PAC)

Last year’s record: “Last year we were an independent lacrosse program; we have been building the level of competition the last two years.”

Key returnees: LSM Brett McLaughlin, Goalie Connor Evans, Attackmen Michael Porreca , Midfielders Brody Butler, Josh Ciabatoni, Gaige Lennon converted from baseball last year and Steve Schwartz Hockey convert last year.

Others to watch: Close Defense Shamis Drohan and James Udowenko, D midfielder Jason Whalen, Attackmen Mike Brown Two freshman Nick Mormando and John Scibelo.

Coach’s outlook for 2018 season: “This year we are focusing on developing a united team, we are dependent on all positions on and off the field to contribute to our success. We had a huge start to the season beating or rivals Ridley HS in a scrimmage for the first time ever; with that being said we have the entire season ahead off us and must focus on ourselves and play every game at the same level.”
