From PRess Release

NXTsports is excited to announce Cradle and Play Fast locations for Spring 2018.

The goal of the Cradle and Play Fast curriculum is overall skill development for the younger lacrosse player. NXGT aims to create a unique learning environment for its youngest players through its innovative curriculum and passionate coaches.

NXT will offer programming this spring at eight locations throughout the Delaware Valley. NXT hosts Cradle and Play Fast at the Proving Grounds facility in Conshohocken and at several area schools (listed below), all chosen because they are conveniently located and offer elite facilities.

Cradle Lacrosse

If you are a parent looking to introduce your son or daughter to the great game of lacrosse in a positive, safe and professional learning environment, we hope to see your child out on the field this spring!

What is Cradle Lacrosse?
Cradle Lacrosse is NXT’s co-ed beginner lacrosse program for ages 4-7 years old. It focuses on core skill development in a one-of-a-kind, unrivaled environment. Cradle’s six-week program focuses on building a player’s confidence through basic games while teaching the fundamentals. The key to our curriculum is providing opportunities for success for each player in a safe and energetic environment. Most importantly we provide all of the equipment, there is nothing for you to buy.

What is Play Fast Training?

Play Fast

The Play Fast Training curriculum is built around progression drills, position-specific stations and the game of Trashcan Lacrosse: the dynamic 2v2 pick-up game that focuses on developing a great handle, learning to play fast and mastering the 2v1 draw & dump. We introduce a wide range of basic to advanced concepts, add subtle challenges, then ask players to be creative in applying them during small sided games and King of the Can tournaments. All programming is highly organized with a focus on high reps in the core skills of the game. We strive for all players to leave our training sessions with the tools and inspiration to take their game to the NXT level.
