Roswell (GA) 2019 defenseman JP Robinson has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.

Academic honors: 4.0 GPA through junior year with heavy schedule

Expected major: Economics

Why did you choose Lafayette? “Lafayette is an outstanding college academically and I loved the campus as soon as I arrived. Coach (Patrick) Myers and Coach (Jud) Hall are very excited with where the program is heading and I had to get on board.”

I also want to thank my coaches at Roswell, Coach Towner, for teaching me everything he knows about defense, and Coach Zito for pushing me to be the best very of myself I can be since 6th grade. My club coaches at Thunder LB3 have also taught me a great deal about what it takes to play college lacrosse and the recruiting process. Lastly, I want to thank all my friends for motivating me to do anything I set my mind to.”
