Mason received the award behind two strong starts in net last week as the women’s lacrosse team picked up wins over Elizabethtown and Alvernia. Against Elizabethtown, Mason matched her season-high of 15 saves to help the Lions earn a 14-11 non-conference win on 34 shots faced. She followed that up on Saturday by allowing just one goal, while making six saves on 12 shots in the Lions 17-1 win over Alvernia.

For the week, Mason tallied a 6.00 GAA and a .636 save percentage, while grabbing three ground balls and a caused turnover. This is the second time this season that she has earned the MAC Commonwealth women’s lacrosse player of the week award.

Mason was an All-DelVal League goalie and a Pansini Law Group Scholar-Athlete honoree last year by Phillylacrosse.com.
