Spring Training Academy by Philly Blast Lacrosse, open to any all girls’ lacrosse players K-8, is a 6-week intensive program that follows an advanced curriculum designed to improve and strengthen female lacrosse players.
Players will have the opportunity to hone on all areas of their game: stickwork, speed, footwork, offensive concepts, midfield transition, defensive concepts, drawing/circle play, and communication. In addition to focusing on individual skills, training sessions will also include small-sided games & scrimmages in order to help players transfer and execute what they have practiced into competitive play.
The Goalie portion of the Spring Training program is geared towards intense and advanced instruction to enhance the goaltending tools necessary for optimal performance. Goalies will have the opportunity to perfect their technique and work on every facet of their game, including stopping, clearing, bounce shots, agility, and warming up. Each session, players will receive individual coaching and see a variety of shots before entering small-sided game play.
