These are some of a series of previews on Philly HS lacrosse for 2017

Pottstown Senior High School

League: PAC (formerly PAC-10)

Head Coach: Brandy Scherer, 2nd year as head coach (prior assistant for 9 years)

Last year’s record: 4-14

Key returnees: Ebony Reddick, Jr.- Midfield; Emily Iezzi, Sr.- Attack; Aniyah Jackson-Thorpe, Jr. – Defense; Reilly Owens, So.- Goalie; Da’zah Regusters, So.- Midfield; Jayla Holloway, So. Defense.

Key player losses: Mardaije Pearson- Chestnut Hill College; Sabrina Butler- Delaware Valley University.

Coach’s Outlook for 2017: “Our goal for this year is to continue to grow each day focusing on our individual and team skills. We are a very young team with only 1 senior & 2 juniors on our 19 person roster. We are looking to instill the same hard work & dedication that made this program successful in the past.”

League: Pioneer Athletic Conference

Head Coach: Maureen Burger, 5th season

Coach’s Outlook for 2017: “Girls have worked hard in the off-season. Looking forward to a competitive season.”
