Mike McShea

High school: Radnor High School (PA)

Grad year: 2018

Position: FO/MF

College committed to: The Catholic University of America

Why did you choose Catholic? “The moment I walked onto the the Catholic campus, I knew I was home. Beyond the beautiful campus, the close proximity to my home town, Wayne and the easy commute into Washington DC were pluses as well. The first time I met the coaches, I felt so comfortable and supported by Coach (Brooks) Singer’s great program. Coach Singer has such a great vision for every player’s future.”

HS team’s 2017 highlights: 13-9 record, District 1 2A semifinalists

Thank You: “I cannot thank my parents enough for their endless support; I would not have been able to do it without their attendance to every single one of my games. My dad has been there through countless tournaments. My sister Katie has always believed in me, and given me motivation. My Radnor coaches: Begier, Friel, Disipio, and Sims have always pushed to do my best and try my hardest. In addition, my Twist coaches: DiIonno, Murray, Devlin, and Flego are the best coaches I could ask for, and have always encouraged me.”

Other schools considered: Ohio Wesleyan, Hampden Sydney, Scranton
