The 2017 Colonials will be captained by senior attacker Katie Breeze, senior defender Megan Wolfgang, and junior midfielder Dana Davis (Garnet Valley).

Davis started all 17 games and was the third-leading scorer for the Colonials with 34 points, scoring 26 goals and adding 8 assists with a .400 shooting percentage. She was named to the All-NEC Second Team and collected 52 ground balls and earned 28 draw controls, causing 24 turnovers.

Robert Morris boasts a strong non-conference schedule, opening the season on February 4th at Bucknell University, before visiting Louisville on Feb. 12. The Colonials will also be on the road in non-conference play against Yale (Feb. 26), George Washington (March 11) and St. Bonaventure (March 19).

The Colonials open their home slate against Central Michigan on February 18th, playing St. Mary’s (CA) on February 24th before returning to the road. Other non-conference home opponents include Detroit (March 4), Liberty University (March 13) and the annual crosstown meeting with rival Duquesne comes to Joe Walton Stadium on March 25th.

Robert Morris opens Northeast Conference play with a two-game road swing at Mount St. Mary’s and Wagner, before playing a trio of NEC home games against Saint Francis, Central Connecticut and Bryant. RMU finishes NEC play on the road at Sacred Heart and LIU Brooklyn.

Robert Morris posted a 9-8 record in 2016, the program’s third consecutive winning season. The Colonials are aiming for a return trip to the NEC tournament, following a semifinal appearance last year.
