STEPS Philly Elite Lacrosse tryouts for Summer teams (5th through 10th grade) for the 2017 season, Tuesday, July 19th at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 20th from 1-4 p.m. at Radnor High. Day 1: Tuesday July 19th at SCH (Fields are located on the corner of Willow Grove Avenue and Cherokee Street)

*Tryouts are for girls entering 5th through 10th grade (HS Graduation Years 2018-2024)
*The expectation for players in 7th through 10th grade is play summer and fall club lacrosse. Fall lacrosse is optional at the 5th and 6th grade levels.
*Non-refundable tryout fee is $50.
*Practices will take place both at SCH and Radnor HS.

-This clinic is for girls who are in grades 3-4 (rising 4th/5th in fall of 2016).
-This clinic will be an introduction to the STEPS Elite Philly program.

Blue Ox Summer Training for High School and Middle School girls starting June 13 through August 3 at Main Line Sports Center. Summer Training will take your game to the next level, both physically and mentally. It will improve your skills, speed, agility, live play and mental strength performance specific to your game. Summer training is for incoming High School freshmen and above. They will be held Monday and Wednesday Nights, 6/13-8/3 (Off July 4th Week).

Summer Individual Showcase
National Prospect Invite, by Legacy Global, July 19-20, for boys and girls in the classes of 2018 and 2019, at River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, VA. To be eligible to participate, high-achieving “uncommitted” high school lacrosse players (boys and girls) from the 2018 and 2019 graduating classes must be nominated via the National Prospect Invite website. Nominations are free of charge and are open to anyone, including parents, family, friends and the players themselves. Accompanying each nomination will be a coach referral attesting to that individual’s athletic acumen and personal character. An independent panel of coaches, school administrators and recruiting experts will evaluate all nominations received, and will select a diverse group of high school boys and girls that demonstrate exceptional lacrosse skills and sportsmanship on the field, achieve a certain academic standard, and display integrity and respect in the classroom and community. The inaugural event will highlight players selected from traditional lacrosse hotbed regions headed by high school coaches hand-picked for their knowledge, expertise and distinguished reputations. Regional representatives for boys and girls will include Sean Delaney (St. Joseph’s Prep), Brian Farrell (Boys Latin School), Eileen Ghent (Monmouth University), Bo Perriello (St. Anne’s-Belfield), Tom Rooney (Half Hollows Hills West High School), Chelsea Rosiek (St. Bonaventure University) and Andrew Whipple (Pittsford High School).

The 4th annual Hershey Lacrosse Shootout for boys’ and girls’ teams, July 16th & 17th at In the Net Sports Complex in Palmyra, PA. By My Lacrosse Tournaments. This tournament has become a fast favorite on our summer circuit of events. Teams from all over the northeast travel to participant in an action packed weekend. With over 65 teams expected to attend in 2016, this event provides high quality lacrosse and family fun just miles from Hersheypark, one of the top rated amusement parks in the country. All games in this 2-day championship tourney event will take place at In the Net Sports complex (798 Airport Rd. Palmyra, PA 17078). Each team has four games guaranteed and all teams qualify for the playoffs.

All-American Lacrosse and USA 1 Mega Girls Lacrosse Camp, run by Navy coach Cindy Timchal, on one day, July 9, at Bryn Mawr College.
The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is for girls in the classes of 2017 to 2024 as well as youth girls aged 5 t 9.
The cost is $180 per camper including reversible, ball, a full day of elite instruction, lunch in the dining hall and demonstration and prizes from Under Armour.
Learn from United States Naval Academy Head Coach Timchal, the winningest Division 1 coach in women’s lacrosse history (eight national championships) and a Philly native who began her career at Haverford High and West Chester University.
Coach Cindy Timchal has developed the ultimate camp experience for lacrosse players that want to take their game to the next level. Learn though her unique progression drills.
You will also be coached by Navy coaches Gabby Capuzzi, Navy assistant coach and former All-American at Ohio State who starred at Archbishop Carroll; as well as coaches from other major Division 1 colleges and other current Division players.
Learn the latest techniques in stickwork, shooting, scoring, dodging, individual defense and individual offense, team offenses and defense. There also will be elite goalkeeper instruction in the Goalkeeper Academy.

The goal of the HEADstrong Lacrosse is to develop a complete student athlete who is competitive on the field and in the classroom.
