Sophomore Jeffrey Connor had five goals and an assist as host Strath Haven defeated Hershey, 10-2, Saturday night
in the nightcap of the 4th Annual Play for the A’s.
The Panthers improved to 8-0 and dealt Hershey (7-1) its first loss.
The event supports the battle against Alzheimer’s disease by providing funds and support services to individuals and families affected by this dreaded disease. As part of its outreach, the SHHS boys’ lacrosse program spends valuable time with seniors at the Plush Mills Senior Living Community.
The event – which featured two JV games and a varsity contest between Springfield-Delco and Interboro – has raised over $9,169 this year. Click here to make a donation or find out more information.
Sam Mutz added two goals and Jake Ross a goal and three assists while Will Brake posted nine saves for the Panthers
Hershey got two goals from Patrick Bagatta.
Springfield-Delco 15, Interboro 4
Kyle Long had four goals and five assists and James Spence made 12 saves to lead the Cougars.
