From Victory Lacrosse Club
Lauren Adams, a member of the Victory Girls 2017 team has committed to playing D1 lacrosse for Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Adams is a rising senior at Unionville High School, in Kennett Square, PA.
Wofford College announced in late 2015, that it would be offering women’s lacrosse to the campus starting the 2017-18 school year. Adams will be part of Wofford College’s founding lacrosse team as a defensive player. She plans to major in biology and minor in art; hoping to one day become a physical therapist.
Adams said, “Wofford is a small close knit school with a lacrosse program starting my freshman year. I love everything about the school from the coach and the other commits I met to the friendliness of everyone on campus and in the town.”
Adams has played for Victory Girls Lacrosse since 2014, and said she loved the girls on her team and how close they have become. The highlight of her Victory Lacrosse career was scoring a goal in their last tournament that was assisted by the goalie, Becca Dolan.
Adams said she loved all of her coaches, but Caitlin Kelley has had the most impact on her lacrosse career. She said “[Caitlin] helped me improve on defense, which is what got me into college.”
