From Press Release
International Lacrosse is coming to Philadelphia with a four-country cup U-19 tournament featuring teams representing Greece, Hungary, Israel and Philippines.
The primary focus of the event is to raise funds, awareness, and conduct a massive equipment drive for the development of youth lacrosse in the four participating countries. All games are held in the mornings at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr to allow participants to spectate at the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Final Four, which is held nearby at Lincoln Financial Field in the afternoons.
The tourney is also a pre-cursor to the FIL World Championships this July in Canada. Team Israel, featuring several American players on its 46-man training roster, will announce its final 23-man roster in the coming weeks.
The teams will be competing in a round-robin schedule with a Championship and 3rd Place game taking place on Monday.
