CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH

Coach: Mike Strayline 1st year Head Coach; Assistant coaches: Steve Henze, Andy Fisher, Stan Kreutzer

Last year’s record: 14-5 overall, 11-1 Continental conference Co-champions

Key returners:
Evan Falkowski Mid, Steve Nowelski Mid, Joe Vitelli Mid, Connor Grant Def, Jake Lautt.

Others to watch: Ian Vogt Mid JR, Mike Dutkiewicz Att JR, Dante Poli Att SO, Andrew Baer LSM SR, Justin Abbonizio Att JR. Brad Ross G JR

Coach’s outlook: “To continue the success that has been built over the past four years. Work hard to win our conference out right. This will be no easy task with all the great teams in our conference and the great talent in this league. We have some very good young talent that will gain great experience this season.”

HATBORO-HORSHAM

Coach: John Kurek 5 years Head Coach, 10 years Assistant; Assistant coaches: Gauntlett Walker, Jake Durkin, Trevor Downing, Conor Nagel, Marc Poust

Last year’s record: Overall – 10-8 overall, 8-4 in conference, lost in District Playoffs

Key returners: Pierre Armstrong 12th/A, Bryan Remailey 12th/A, Owen Winters 12th/M, Logan Eldgridge 11th/M, Dylan Cellini 12th/M, Conor Wilkinson LP

Others to watch: Chris McPoyle 11th/ LP Anthony Kwaiatonowski/LP 10th, Jeff Marshall LP 10th, Drew Robinson 9th LP, Tim McPoyle 11th A, Joe Larouche 11th M.

Outlook: “With another year of experience for a core group of returners, the Hatboro-Horsham Boys Lacrosse team is looking to be competitive with their in and out of league opponents.”

PENNSBURY

Coach: Drew Artin (2nd year); Assistant Coaches: Ben Brown (2ndyear), Pat Durso (1styear), Dan Friscia (1styear), Rob Watts (1styear)

Last year’s record: 4-14 overall, 3-7 league

Key Returners: Mike Montgomery Sr. Mid, Hunter Lake Sr. Att, Brian Doron Sr. Def, Zach Abraham Sr. Att, Greg Lichtenstein Sr. Mid, Dave Rendeiro Sr. Def

Others to watch: Ethan Glynn JR LSM, Ryan Kelly JR Att, Jack Kelly SR G, Ryan Michael SO Mid, Ben Abraham SO Mid, Justin Hernandez SO Def, Devin Sengpiel JR Def

Coach’s outlook: “We return a lot of experienced players and also have some newcomers who should help us out in needed positions. Implementing a new culture and system has its ups and downs, but this group has bought in and we will be looking forward to playing some traditional lacrosse.”

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH

Coach: Bryan Gregg (2nd year head coach); Assistant coaches: Paul Marro, Ryan Zehren and Chris Schaffer

SOL Record: 9-5

Overall record: 10-8 with a loss in the first round of the playoffs to Ridley

Key returners: Austin Betterly (senior), Alex Savarese (Junior), Jake Kelly (Senior)

Others to watch: Vince Martina (Junior), Zach Zygmunt (senior), Kenny Diamond (Sophomore), Dawson Faust (Senior), Jake Boyer (Senior).

Coach’s outlook:
“Our goal for the season is to get a spot in the postseason. Our schedule this season is tough, and we are a fairly young team, so our focus is on improving throughout the season and gaining experience and skill as the season develops. Despite being young, we have some talented players with high lacrosse IQ’s and we have high expectations for them.”

SOUDERTON

Coach: Mark Princehorn 3rd year; Assistant coaches: Kyle Rouse and Josh Homa

Last year’s record: 6-12 overall, 1-11 SOL

Key returners: Trent Breneman – Jr. -M Jake Phaup – Jr. – M Justin Russell – Sr. – D

Others to watch: Tyler Asbury – Sr. – G Cory Azeff – Sr. -M Matt Pierce – Sr. -D

Coach’s outlook: “We bring back some talented experience and with the addition of some talented underclassmen our goal is to be more competitive within the league.”
