Penn*Lax All-Stars was founded in 2015 with the intentions of being the best travel box team in the state with an eye of being the best in the country.Pennlax 1

Penn*Lax started by assembling a staff that is unrivaled at the amateur/youth level anywhere in the country, led by Adam Mueller (Team USA offensive Coordinator), Luke Wiles (3x NLL All-Star), Steven Holmes (8-Year NLL veteran), Kevin Crowley (Canadian World Champion), Alex Turner (8-Year NLL veteran), and Eric Hoffman (Former Philadelphia Wing).

Next Years Penn*Lax Tryouts will take place Nov. 19/20 at Bucksmont Indoor Sports Center for MS, JV, and HS teams (Mark your Calander!)

Penn*Lax wanted to combine the best players and give them the best training and leadership through the winter months to learn the box game and represent Pennsylvania. The first year was a huge success now has set a foundation for a truly special future.

The Penn*Lax High School Team never won a championship in its first year, but clearly established itself as a premier national contender. The team earned a silver medal at the Northeast Regional (falling in a close game to Team 91), a silver medal at the DC box classic (falling to Blue Star after defeating Team 91), and capturing a bronze medal in the Midwest classic.

“The High School Penn*Lax team is stacked with D1 talent and most importantly we had kids that committed themselves to learning a different style of play that is really going to help them build upon their already great talent.”Pennlax 2

Says Penn*Lax Founder Steven Holmes “We developed some really great rivalries with the countries top clubs and the box lacrosse competition as a whole is at an all-time high. I think everyone involved thought the tournaments and competition was incredible”

The Penn*Lax middle school team had equal success in its first year earning a bronze medal at the northeast regional, a silver at the DC Classic (Falling to SweetLax), a silver at the Midwest Classic (Falling to Team Texas), and yet another Silver at Nationals in California (Falling to Canadian British Columbia All-Stars).
