Mt. Olive (N.J.) 2017 attackman Griffin Shira has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Cabrini College.

Why did you choose this school? “From the moment I stepped on campus I knew it was the school for me. The coaching staff and players made me feel like I was apart of the family. The lacrosse program has a great tradition of excellence and I look forward to being a Cavalier.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We are extremely excited for this upcoming season and we are taking one game at a time. We are young but very talented.”

People to thank: “I would first like to thank mom for introducing me to the sport of lacrosse. My family has supported me since I first held a lacrosse stick. I would also like to thank my Head Coach, Dave Gallucci, for helping me grow and develop as a person and a player.
